The Mahindra team were pleased no end with young Danny Webb finishing 14th place in Sachsenring, considering Danny spent a few hours in a high compression chamber just a few days before his Moto 125 race in Germany to help heal his shoulder injury, his race position and determination to climb aboard the Mahindra machine was admirable.

Marquez denies the Germans
Marc Marquez bravely dominated Stefan Bradl's contention for the Sachsenring 1st place podium spot, Bradl had to settle for a 2nd place podium but leads the Moto 2 championship by 47 points, a close win by a German rider in Germany that hasn't happened for decades. The 18 year old spanish rider, Marquez, took his 4th Moto 2 win by pulling some outstanding moves as the leading 4 battled for the lead over the last few laps, Marquez was unstoppable. Brits Bradley Smith and Scott Redding had mixed results with Redding back to his old self with a confident 7th place finish while Smith took a first corner excurtion amongst seperate rider incidents from the start, then an off halfway through the German Moto GP saw Bradley retire.

Pedrosa Wins Sachsenring

Danny Pedrosas return to Moto GP was complimented by a stonking win in Germany, all three Repsol Hondas were fighting the frontline with current world champion Jorge Lorenso who split the pack yet again to put himself second on the podium. Rear tyre grip and engine breaking set-up for Casey Stoner made his Honda a handful towards the end of the race and had to settle for 3rd place or bin it in the kitty litter! Amazing result for Suzuki as Alvaro Bautista brought the bike home in 7th place closely followed by struggling Rossi in 9th on the Ducati 2011.1 with a storming come back from starting 16th on the grid.

Ryuichi Kyonari takes the top podium spot in a storming second race to take valuable points from the championship leaders. John Hopkins won vital points taking 1st place in race 1 and third in race 2, the legendary three times BSB champion Kyonari put the HM Plant machine firmly on top of the podium in the second race at the stunning new Snetterton 300 circuit.
Team boss revealed Kyo has had a tough year due to personal and professional reasons, Kyo has a massive British fan base and it's great to have him back on form and if onw man can upset the apple cart it's certainly him!
James Ellison will make a sensational return to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship from Oulton Park as he joins forces with Sorrymate.com Honda after the team split with Dan Linfoot. Ellison who is a former BSB title contender will return to the grid at the Oulton Park BSB round: 15th-17th July.

Simon Andrews remains at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment following an accident at the Snetterton300 BSB round 7 race on the 3rd of July 2011, Alex Lowes suffered an engine failure depositing oil onto the circuit causing an unavoidable racing incident involving Andrews and Steve Brogan crashing at high speed, Brogan is said to have been released from hospital with a minor shoulder injury whilst Simon Andrews has sustained a major fracture to one of his legs.
